PakkaBhav collects the following data:

  • Search queries: When you search for a society, we log the search term to understand demand and improve our database coverage. We do not associate search queries with your identity.
  • Email address: If you subscribe to price alerts, we store your email address along with the society you're tracking. This is used solely to send you transaction notifications.
  • Contributed transactions: If you contribute a transaction, we store the data you provide (society, price, area, configuration). We do not collect your name or personal identification during contribution.
  • Basic analytics: We use standard web analytics to understand page views and traffic patterns. This does not include personal identification.

How We Use Your Data

  • Search queries help us prioritize which societies to add to our database.
  • Email addresses are used exclusively for price alert notifications. We do not send marketing emails.
  • Contributed transactions are verified and added to our database to help other buyers.
  • Analytics data helps us improve the product and understand which features are useful.

We Never Sell Your Data

PakkaBhav does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your email address is never shared with builders, brokers, or any other party.

Data Storage and Processing

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (our database provider). Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Our servers are hosted on Vercel's infrastructure.

Cookies

PakkaBhav uses minimal cookies required for the website to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

How to Delete Your Data

To delete your data (including price alert subscriptions and any contributed transactions), email us at hello@pakkabhav.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 7 business days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
